Today my recording booth and walls were painted. Bright orange and blackboard paint. Best birthday ever!!
We finally recorded AWESOME and the kids acted like pros! The recording process was easier than I thought it would be. All seven kids sat quietly while each student went up to record. They were so respectful to each other. I love the look on their faces when they first put on the headphones and hear the world from inside of the microphone. It’s priceless. I am so proud of each and every kid in that class!
Take a listen to song, AWESOME, written by the Crossroads Kids Fall 2009. Enjoy!

Daily candy to my heart
Monday, November 14th, 2011This morning I felt like a little kid waking up on Christmas morning two hours too early in the anticipation of gifts under the tree. The alarm wasn’t set to go off for another 3o minutes, but there I was eyes wide-opened and hand grabbing for the iphone on my bedside table to see the Daily Candy Kids article that I’d been waiting for for three months. And it was ever as good as I dreamed it would be. There are some days where owning a small business is a hand-full plus some, but it’s days like today that I realize I’m doing something that has a positive impact on other people’s lives – on children’s lives. I will be skipping around a foot off the ground all day (rhyme intended…I’m a songwriter, what can I say?!)
xx
